Client Testimonials
English Heritage regularly employs Spencer & Fry for filming projects at our historic sites across the country. Having Claire on board enables us to work on complex projects with large-scale production companies and confidently deliver to a high standard. She is creative in finding solutions to the client’s requests whilst never compromising the care of our sites. Claire is experienced in all areas of filming conservation, from the preparation of delicate rooms for set-dressing to the assessment of humidity and interior lux levels. Her ability to respond to the constantly changing environment of a film set with professionalism, discretion, and good humour makes her a real pleasure to work with.
Amy Mulholland
Senior Filming Coordinator, English HeritageWorking with Spencer and Fry has transformed the way we operate filming within our historic buildings. Their presence, their experience and their confidence with film crews allows us to offer those filming with us the opportunity to achieve more complicated shots as well as reassuring our own conservation teams that the activity is safe for both the fabric of the buildings and the collections stored within them. It has allowed us a greater dialogue with film crews and we don't do any large scale filming without them!
Sophie Linin
Senior Business Development Manager, Royal Museums GreenwichWe commissioned Claire to review our newly drafted emergency plan to ensure it was clear, workable, and would meet accreditation standards. Claire provided constructive feedback on the content and structure of the plan and provided recommendations for salvage, treatments, and equipment. We toured our site to assess the proposed salvage areas, and Claire provided recommendations on access routes, security, and salvage equipment. Claire is very knowledgeable, having worked in this field for many years with both small and large scale organisations. She is very approachable, and no question is considered too small. I would highly recommend Claire for all aspects of emergency planning
