About Me
A degree in Fine Art and a background in the design and manufacture of ceramics led to my interest in conservation. My primary focus now is mainly on conserving architectural ceramics, tiling, faience, mosaic as well as individual ceramic objects. I run a private practice as lead conservator at Rieveley Ceramics, working on projects throughout the UK with our team. I have been practising ceramic conservation at Rieveley Ceramics since 1999, and previous work has help me build up considerable experience in the field.
Working for and with individual clients, public and private bodies, architects, religious institutions, etc. Consulting, finding and implementing practical solutions to the conservation and retention of our ceramic heritage is an abiding passion.
I am a committee member of the Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society.
