Simon Gillespie ACR
About Me
Simon Gillespie is a fine art conservator whose studio in Mayfair (London) has a global reputation for its work treating some of the finest works of art in private and public collections.
Simon and his team's experience covers artworks from the early Renaissance, including paintings by Raphael, through Artemisia Gentileschi, van Dyck and Gainsborough to modern great masters such as Lucian Freud, Pablo Picasso, Damien Hirst, Banksy and many more.
You may recognise Simon from the well-loved BBC4 television programme 'Britain's Lost Masterpieces' where he and art historian Bendor Grosvenor uncover some of the nation's overlooked treasures. Simon's work has made it possible to reattribute artworks to Botticelli, Rubens, Rembrandt, Bruegel, Titian and others. Find out more on: https://www.simongillespie.com/britains-lost-masterpieces
