About Me
Lucy Branch is one of the Directors at Antique Bronze’s Ltd. She specialises in the conservation and restoration of bronze sculpture and architectural features. Her undergraduate studies were at University College London where she studied History of Art with Material Studies. Later in her career, she undertook a mid-career Masters in Conservation specializing in bronze with The Royal College of Art and The Victoria and Albert Museum. She is accredited by The Institute of Conservation and is an assessor for the PACR scheme on behalf of ICON. She has also been an ICON CPD reader for several years.
She teaches courses in the principles of bronze conservation and consults on conservation projects for local councils, contractors and architects. Alongside her role in the company, she writes academic articles on metal conservation including work for Oxford University Press and Routledge and writes best-selling thriller-fiction set in the art world www.lucybranch.com.
