This silver gelatin photograph, taken in the early 20th century, had been exposed to years of dirt and dust, which had resulted in disfiguring damage to the emulsion layer. The photograph was cleaned and rehoused within archival, photographic standard materials, using 99% ultra violet filtering glass, and framed in order to protect it for future generations.
