Historic Royal Palaces
Ian Clark Restoration were selected to support Historic Royal Palaces by undertaking the specialist conservation of the Pagoda metalwork as part of the extensive restoration project completed in 2018

Built in 1762 this 10 storey octagonal structure nearly 50m high is adorned at its pinnacle with a suspended wrought iron and bronze hoop and chain assembly which supports the iconic terminal pole.
ICR were initially engaged to carry out a front-end condition survey consultancy of the terminal pole decorative iron and bronze work and to author a conservation repair method statement, technical specification and bill of quantities
Through competitive tender ICR were awarded the comprehensive conservation repair contract
